In Loving Memory of Patrick Gauvin

1954 – 2025

 

Joseph William Patrick Gauvin of Russellville, New Brunswick, peacefully passed away at Percy’s Place on November 17, 2025, at the age of 71.

 

Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on March 17, 1954, he was the son of the late Charles Gauvin Sr. and Elvina (Comeau) Gauvin.  He was a carpenter by trade.

 

Patrick is survived by his wife, Diana; two daughters: Tammy Chambers (Chris), and Tanya MacLean (Darren); two sons: Chris MacLean (Cindy), and Patrick Gauvin Jr. (Diane); 15 grandchildren: Brandon (Hannah), Alyssa (Phil), Alexander, Caileigh, Mandy, Cameron, Erika, AJ, Kelsey, Emma, Khaila, Natalie, Patrick, Zackary, and Nicholas; two great-grandchildren: Leah and Emmett; two sisters: Rae and Donna; two brothers: Charles and Wallace; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents; and sisters: Kay, Terry, Anne, and Janet.

 

At the request of the family, there was no visitation.  A Celebration of Life was held at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick, on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., with The Reverend Deacon Ted Quann as Officiant.  Music for the service was recorded music.  The processional song was "Amazing Grace" by Alan Jackson, followed by "In the Garden" by Alan Jackson, with the recessional being "Where the Roses Never Fade", by Lena Mullet.   

 

Patrick’s family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to Dr. Losier and staff at Percy’s Place for the care and compassion shown to Dad during his final journey.  We are thankful that dad’s final days were ones of comfort and peace.

 

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Percy’s Place would be appreciated by the family.
