Pauline M. Jobe
1947 – 2021
Pauline Mary Jobe, wife of the late John A. Jobe of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on November 19, 2021, at the age of 74.
Born in Chatham, on February 25, 1947, she was daughter of the late Wilbur and Susan (Flaherty) Murdock. She was a Homemaker and attended St. Michael’s Basilica.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Melanie Bowes (Matthew) of Moncton; two grandchildren: Riley Bowes of Scoudouc, and Marianna Bowes of Moncton; five sisters: Edith McGrath, Isabel Voutour, Marie Lindsay, Anna Austin and Carolyn Gautheau (Moe); many nieces and nephews; and special cat, Felix. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, John A. Jobe; two brothers: Francis and John Murdock; and sister, Eleanor Murdock.
The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Losier, Palliative Ward on the fourth floor and 2 West for the care and compassion that they showed towards Pauline. It will always be greatly appreciated.
As per family request, there will be no visitation A PRIVATE Mass of Christian Burial was Celebrated at St. Michael's Basilica with Father Antonio Reyes as Celebrant. Music for the service was provided by Mr. David Bunnell. Interment will be held in St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
