Peggy L. Fraser

1960 – 2023

Peggy Lea Fraser of Bay du Vin, New Brunswick, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on April 10, 2023, at the age of 62.

Born in Chatham, NB, on August 2, 1960, she was the daughter of the late William and Constance (Gulliver) Fraser.  She was employed at the Bay du Vin General Store and attended St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin.

Peggy is survived by siblings: Joan Fraser of Bay du Vin, June Fraser of Miramichi, Debbie Gilliss (Ralph) of Bay du Vin, Flora Martin (Fernand) of Bay du Vin, Jerry Fraser (Annette) of Nova Scotia, Lilly Kingston (Butch) of Bay du Vin, Harry Fraser of Bay du Vin and Ron Putnam of Ontario, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, brothers: Donald Fraser, Harold Fraser, and Miles Smyth.

At the request of the family, there was no visitation.  A funeral service occurred at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, 140 King St., Miramichi on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 11 AM with The Reverend Thomas W.L. Nisbett officiating and Cindy Kingston assisting.  Music for the service was provided by Francois "Buff" Durelle and the songs were "Something You Get Through" and "Go Rest High On That Mountain".  The funeral Psalm was lead by Marley Kingston.  Interment will be at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
