The passing of Priscilla Jane (Kervin) Veno of Weaver Siding, NB, occurred on November 2, 2024, at Percy’s Place, Miramichi, NB, where she received excellent and loving care.
Born in Blissfield, NB, on May 21, 1931, she was raised by her grandparents, Corneleus and Eugena (MacLeod) Kervin in Blissfield. She was the daughter of the late Della Legere. Priscilla was a member of Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Doaktown, and truly enjoyed cooking and knitting.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Watson (Vemrose); sons: John (Gail Matchett), Pat (Bonnie Sutherland), Thomas, Darrell (Paula Buckley), and Charlie (Ginger MacIntyre); brother, Ricky Legere; sister, Jenny Stewart; and sister-in-law, June Veno; ten grandchildren: Cheryl Veno, Chris Veno, Cody Veno, Allanda Price, Amelia Veno, Stacey Clowater, Jessie Veno, Joseph Robichaud, Nathan Connors and Trish Carter; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents; mother; husband, Ralph Veno; son, Gerald Veno; daughter-in-law, Tammy Veno, sister, Phyllis Pashko; brother-in-law, Frank Veno; sisters-in-law: Evelyn Tucker, Helen O’Donnell, Grace Colford (Pete), and Leona Sutherland (Ben).
Visitation was held at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Doaktown, NB, on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 3-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial was Celebrated at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Doaktown, NB, on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 1 PM, with The Reverend Father Paul Doucet as Celebrant. Music for the service was provided by the church choir and the hymns were "Here I Am Lord", "The Lord Is My Shepherd", "This Is The Light Of Our God" and "Songs Of The Angels" The scripture readings was read by Allanda Price and Stacey Clowater. Pallbearers were Basil Kervin, Brian Weaver, Chris Veno, Benny Sutherland, Peter Silvea and Lyle Colford. Interment was in Holy Name of Mary Catholic Cemetery, Blissfield.
Special mention to Priscilla’s care taker Faye Colford.
