In Loving Memory of Raymond C. Cripps
1939 – 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, surrounded by his family in peace and comfort at Losier Hall on February 22, 2024, at the age of 84.
Born in Chatham, on October 17, 1939, he was the son of the late Mary Brown Cripps Gaudette, (his biological father Cecil Cripps) and his father Theodor Gaudette.
Raymond (Ray) is survived by his wife, Bernetta (Ber); sister, Idah Holland (Keith) of Miramichi; daughter, Darlene Baldwin (Steve) of Georgetown, ON; son, Darwin Cripps (April Dickson) of Miramichi; beloved grandchildren: Haylee and Devon Cripps of Miramichi; as well as nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents;his dear mother-in-law, Clementine Jimmo; brother, Douglas Cripps; nephews: Mark Doiron and Jason Jimmo; sister-in-law, Corine Doiron; brother-in-law, Patrick Jimmo; grand-fur child, Oakley; and many more furry pets.
Following with Raymond's wishes, there will be no visitation and a private funeral only was held. Burial will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery later in the spring.
Raymond's family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the kind and compassionate staff at Losier Hall. Also, thank you to Dr. Gerard Losier who made it possible for Raymond to be at his new home at Losier Hall.
As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, NB Heart and Stroke, or Percy’s Place would be appreciated by the family.
