Ronald J. Malley

1941 – 2023

Ronald Joseph Malley, husband of the late Ellen Malley of Miramichi, passed away at the Albert House Hospice, Moncton, New Brunswick, on January 4, 2023, at the age of 81.

Born in Chatham Head, New Brunswick, on November 21, 1941, he was the son of the late Michael and Melvina Malley.  He was a Custodian at CFB Chatham for 30 years.  He was Catholic by faith.

Ronald is survived by three daughters: Tammy Aube (Dan) of Ontario, Tina Malley of Moncton, and Carole Surgenor (Glenn) of Ontario; eight grandchildren: Caila, Shyla, Joshua, James, Cole, William, Penelope, and Charlotte; one great-grandchild, Declan; and two brothers: Leonard and Vye Malley.  He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Ellen Malley; one sister, Yvonne Richard; and three brothers: Clarence, Leslie, and Sterling Malley.

Visitation occured at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 10-11 AM and funeral service followed at 11 AM from Adams Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverend Father Antonio Reyes officiating.  Music for the service was provided by Jacqueline Allain and the hymns were "How Great Thou Art", "To You O Lord I Lift My Soul", "Be Not Afraid", "Songs of the Angels" and the recessional hymn was "In The Sweet By and By".  The scripture readings was by Edith Smith and Danny Aube.  Prayers of the Faithful were proclaimed by Cole Peabody, Will Peabody, Shyla Aube and Joshua Aube.  The eulogy was presented by daughters: Tammy Aube, Tina Malley and Carole Surgenor.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
