Rose-Mai Mazerolle
1963 – 2022
Rose-Mai Mazerolle of Baie-Ste-Anne passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the age of 58.
Born in Chatham, on September 21, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Prudent and Adelle (Martin) Mazerolle. She loved Bingo and attended St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Baie-Ste-Anne.
She is survived by three sisters: Julia Mercure (Charles), Denise Mazerolle (Roger) and Therese Mazerolle (late Brian) all of Baie-Ste-Anne; two brothers: Ronald Mazerolle (Francine) of Baie-Ste-Anne and Adrien Mazerolle (Christine) of Saint Norbert; nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, David Jean.
Rose-Mai rested at the Baie-Ste-Anne Slumber Room on Thursday from 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Baie-Ste-Anne on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 11 AM with Father Jean Belisle as Celebrant. Music for the service was provided by Mireille McIntyre and the hymns were “Pere, Vois Ton Enfant”, “In The Garden”, “Il Reviendra”, “Prends Mou Coeur”, “Jesus Me Voici Devant Toy” and “How Great Thou Art”. The cross and flowers was carried by Annick Mazerolle and Nicole Mercure. The eulogy was presented by Rachel Mercure Mutch. The scripture readings were read by Nicole Mercure and the Intercessory Prayers were proclaimed by Marsha Meuse. Pallbearers were Bailey Pitre, Titus Mutch, Darryl Mazerolle, Timmy Mazerolle, Jean-Guy Mazerolle and Albert Manuel. Interment will be in St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
