1948 – 2022
Shelia Diane Mercure of Miramichi, passed away at Shannex-Losier Hall on August 7, 2022, at the age of 74.
Born in Liverpool, NS, on March 18, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Ruth (MacLeod) MacKay. She was a Laborer at different factories and fish plants during her working career.
Shelia is survived by two daughters: Paula McIntyre (Marven) of Baie-Ste-Anne, and Christine Mercure of Miramichi; one son, Everett MacKay of Miramichi; five grandchildren: Ashley, Allison, Hunter, Tanner, and Courtney; one brother, Thomas MacKay (Sheryl) of Hamilton, ON; and one sister, Sharon Young. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Hilaire; and father-in-law, Alfred Mercure.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation or funeral service held.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
