Stacey L. Savoy Obituary

In Loving Memory of Stacey Savoy

1977 – 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Stacey Savoy on April 2, 2026, which occurred surrounded by her loving family.

Born in March of 1977, Stacey was a devoted daughter, partner, mother, and friend. She spent many years working at Berger Peat Moss in Bay du Vin, alongside her partner, Darren Gulliver. Stacey was known for her strong work ethic, and the many friendships she formed over the years.

She shared a loving life with her partner, Darren Gulliver, and was a proud and devoted mother to her daughter, Claire, who was the center of her world.

Stacey was the beloved daughter of Sharon Savoy and the late David James Savoy (2022), whom she deeply missed. She will be forever remembered by her sister, Amy Savoy (Brian), as well as her extended family, including her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Stacey was the granddaughter of Stella and Andrew Gilliss on her mother’s side, and Dearborn and Ernestine Savoy on her father’s side.

Visitation was held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King Street, Miramichi, New Brunswick, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and a funeral service followed at 1:00 p.m. from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, with The Reverend Canon Richard McConnell as officiant.  Music for the service was recorded music and included "Amazing Grace" (Bluegrass), "When I get Where I'm Going" and "Dancing in the Sky".  Scripture readings were by Ian Gulliver and The Reverend Canon Richard McConnell.  Words of Remembrances were by Amy Savoy.  A reception and an opportunity to be with Stacey's family followed at the St. John the Evangelist Church, Bay Du Vin.  Interment will be in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery later in the spring.

A message from her family:

“Stacey, you were deeply loved and will be forever missed. Your kindness, your strength, and your love for your family will stay with us always. We will carry you in our hearts every day and cherish all the memories we shared together.”
