Susan “Susie” Jennifer MacDonald

Susan “Susie” Jennifer MacDonald of Miramichi, passed away at Shannex-Losier Hall on February 11, 2022, at the age of 53.

Born in Miramichi, NB, on April 26, 1968, she was the daughter of both the late Mark and Carole (Currie) MacDonald.

Susie is survived by her step-mother, Linda MacDonald of Moncton; sisters: Anne (Dwayne) Williston of Saint John, NB, Amy MacDonald of Fredericton, NB, and Colleen Bell (Mike) of Moncton; brothers: Jeff (Melanie) MacDonald of Salt Lake City, USA, and Darrell (Julie) MacDonald of Calgary, AB. She was survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was cared for by her aunts: Gwen Dickson, Dorothy MacDonald, Peggie MacDonald, Sandra Currie, and the late Eleanor Upham. Susie was also lovingly cared for by her caregivers at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, Shannex-Losier Hall, as well as Rheal and Ann Chiasson.

Besides her father and mother, she is predeceased by her paternal and maternal grandparents, as well as several aunts and uncles.

A private visitation occured at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi, NB, on Monday, February 14, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. A private funeral service followed at Adams Funeral Home Chapel immediately following the visitation at 2:00 PM with Maxine Disher and Alanna MacDonald officiating.  Active Pallbearers were Dennis Williston, Darrin MacDonald, Elwin Dickson, Darrell MacDonald, Dwayne Williston, and Mike Bell.  Interment occurred at the Riverside Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
