The family of Terrence “Terry” Gerard Flanagan of Miramichi, New Brunswick, announce his sudden passing at home on June 20, 2026, at the age of 74.

Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, Terry was the son of the late John and Edna (Power) Flanagan.

Terry was a skilled electrician and co-owner of Tri-Volt Electric for many years. Through his dedication to his trade and his strong work ethic, he built lasting relationships and earned the respect of colleagues, customers, and friends throughout the community. Known for his kind heart and generous spirit, Terry was a compassionate and caring man. He was charitable in quiet ways. His warmth, kindness, and generosity will be remembered by those who knew him.

Family was important to Terry, and despite life's challenges and the passage of time, his love for his daughters remained constant. He carried them in his heart always and took pride in their accomplishments and in the lives they built for themselves. His grandchildren, Kennedy and Grayson, were also a source of pride and affection for him.

Terry is survived by his two daughters, Holly Flanagan of Miramichi, NB, and Sheri Beaulieu (Alex) of Stittsville, ON; his former wife and the mother of his children, Janice Flanagan; his two sisters, Joyce Playfair of Miramichi, NB, and Maureen Donaher (Bill) of Oakville, ON; his two brothers, Benny Flanagan (Linda) of Moncton, NB, and Percy Flanagan (Heather) of Miramichi, NB; his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Flanagan, widow of his late brother Ronald Flanagan; his two cherished grandchildren, Kennedy Jardine and Grayson Beaulieu; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Terry was predeceased by his common-law spouse, Mary Malley; his brothers, John “Jack” Flanagan, Blaine Flanagan, and Ronald Flanagan; and his great-nephew, Evan McFarlane.
