Thelma M. Durelle Obituary

In Loving Memory of Thelma Marie Durelle (Martin)

October 15, 1934 – December 22, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Thelma Marie Durelle announce her passing at Losier Hall, Shannex in Miramichi, New Brunswick.

Born in Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick, Thelma was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Elizabeth Martin.  She was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Thelma is survived by her daughters: Darlene (late Maxime) and Shirley; son, Steven; five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.  Thelma is also survived by her sisters: Christine, Fernard, Sandra, Dorita, Geralda, and Pamela; brothers: Rosario, Lucien and Terry.

Thelma was predeceased by her husband Eloie Durelle, daughter, Norma and her brother, Melvin.

Forever in our hearts, her memory will be cherished always and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

As per our parent’s wishes, a private interment and blessing will take place at Hardwicke Catholic Cemetery at a later date in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick, telephone (506) 773-3492.  Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.adamsfh.ca
