It is with deep sadness that the family of Thomas Raymond "Ray" Keddie announce his passing at Parkwood Hospital - Veterans Care on Sunday, January 12, 2025, in his 100th year.
Ray was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Zora Nada (nee Tracy-Gould) Keddie; his parents, Jack and Maude Keddie; his brothers, Gordan, Bob; and his sister, Dorothy Keddie.
Ray was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy serving on the HMCS Haida during World War II. He was a proud member of the Lions Club of Canada - Thamesford branch for many years.
Ray was born in Montreal in 1925, and met his wife Zora in 1955. The following year they married, and had four children throughout the years:
Bruce of Montreal, Barb, lan, and Jane, all of London. He was proud granddad to Adam, Julia, and Alana, all of Montreal.
There was a Celebration of Life in Thamesford on March 15, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Beaty Room, 165 Dundas Street, Thamesford, Ontario.
Ray will be laid to rest alongside his wife, Zora on July 25, 2025, at 10 a.m., at the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin, New Brunswick. A light lunch will be served at the cottage in Bay du Vin afterwards, 88 McLeod Road, Bay du Vin, New Brunswick.
