In Loving Memory of Walter John Carroll

1979 - 2025

 

With broken hearts, we share the passing of Walter John Carroll, age 46, of Miramichi, New Brunswick, on November 1st, 2025.

 

Walter was someone who loved his kids with everything he had. He was the kind of person who would drop everything to help a friend, offer a laugh when you needed it most, and light up any room he walked into. He had a big heart, an easy smile, and a way of making everyone feel like family.

 

Walter will be forever loved and missed by his mother Marina Carroll; his children, Emily Stewart (Scott), Olivia Carroll (Evan), Eric Carroll (Alexa); and the mother of his children, Holly Wiebe; as well as his grandchildren, Kylie, Matthew, and Liam. He is also survived by his siblings, Gary Carroll (Elizabeth), Crystal Carroll, Jen Fleming (Brandon), and Sunshine Carroll.

 

He will also be missed by his special friend, Sandy.

 

He was predeceased by his father, Gary Carroll; his maternal and paternal grandparents; as well as long time friend, Joey Walsh; and his childhood best friends, Matthew Walsh and Bradley Russell (Chopper), who welcomed him home with open arms.

 

As requested, there will be no formal services. Instead, those who wish to honour his memory are encouraged to make a donation to addiction awareness and recovery programs.

 

Walter’s kindness, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
