In Loving Memory of Wayne Gulliver
1947 – 2026
Wayne Spencer Gulliver of Gardiner’s Point, New Brunswick, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on April 21, 2026, at the age of 78 years.
Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on October 8, 1947, he was the son of the late Winston and Edna (Johnston) Gulliver. Wayne moved to Ontario for work. He ended his working career at Crown Cork and Seal until retirement, and then moved back to Gardiner’s Point, New Brunswick.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Marva (Chapman) Gulliver; daughter, Erin Gulliver of Gardiner’s Point, New Brunswick; three sisters: Arlene Minchella of Gardiner’s Point, New Brunswick, Jean Martinson of Courtenay, British Columbia, and Everlyn Durelle of Rothesay, New Brunswick; two brothers, David Gulliver of Gardiner’s Point, New Brunswick, and Lorne Gulliver (Dana) of Courtenay, British Columbia; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Doreen; and brother-in-law, Donald Martinson.
As per the families wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery in Bay du Vin, New Brunswick, at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada, Miramichi SPCA or St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
