In Loving Memory of Wesley Sherrard
1940 – 2026
Wesley Percell Sherrard of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on April 7, 2026 at the age of 85.
Born in Newcastle, New Brunswick, on September 13, 1940, he was the son of the late Wesley Sr. and Lena (Mutch) Sherrard. He was a truck driver by trade.
1st Wife: Mary (Timmons) Sherrard/Gallant (deceased); his children: Dean (Gina), Darren (Sherry), Brenda Kelly (Perry); grandchildren: Miranda Cartwright (Kyle), Carly Vanstone, Kaitlin Le (Hoang), Heidi Dougan (Charles), Ethan, Emily; great-grandchildren: Kristen, William, Ronin, Maco, Harlynn.
2nd Wife: Arlene (Mills) MacTavish/Sherrard (deceased); his step-children: Daryl, Hugh (Ann), Rick (deceased), Stephen (Shirley), Wanda (deceased); step-grandchildren: Alyssa, Evan, Amber, Brendan (Lynden), Parker; step-great-grandchild: Reid.
Our Father had many relatives and friends that will miss him. So hard to say goodbye for the last time to a soul who carried many titles. So father, dad, daddy, grand-daddy, great-granddaddy, papa, Wes, junior. It's time. May you rest in peace.
At Wesley’s request, there will be no visitation of funeral service. A graveside service will be held at Lyttleton Pentecostal Church Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
