In Loving Memory of William MacDonald

1993 – 2023

William Frances James MacDonald of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away in a motor vehicle accident on October 13, 2023, at the age of 30.

Born in Newcastle, NB, on September 2, 1993, he was the son of Shelley and James MacDonald.  He was a Heavy Equipment Technician.  He loved spending time with family especially with his daughter, Scarlette.

William is survived by his parents: Shelley and James MacDonald of Miramichi; his daughter, Scarlette MacDonald of Burnt Church; and also the mother of his daughter, Kandra Dedam of Burnt Church; grandmothers: Bonnie Goulette of Miramichi, and Diana Robbins of New Jersey, NB; as well as his nephew, Jesse MacDonald Jr. of Miramichi; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by his brother, Jesse MacDonald; grandfathers: William Goulette, and Frank MacDonald; and first cousin, Tyler Davidson.

Visitation was held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 1-4 PM only.  By request, there was no funeral.  Interment will be held at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made through a "Go Fund Me" account that has been set up for the family, or to Miramichi Addictions and Mental Health Services would be appreciated by the family.
