Chris, Kim & family. Sorry for your loss. Your Dad was well known in New Brunswick and in Bay Side and surrounding areas and yet he was always approachable and willing to listen. Unfortunately, my wife and I will be away from Jan. 17 until late the next day or I would have expressed my condolences in person.

Please accept our sincere condolences on this sad occasion. Having served with Reg in the Legislature, I saw first hand the depth of his commitment and dedication to the people he represented. No one worked harder for the most vulnerable people of our province. A former Speaker of the US House of Representatives once famously said that "All politics is local". Reg embodied concern for the little gal and guy and he fought the good fight every chance he got. I'm sorry for your loss but also sorry for the loss of a very good man. Veuillez accepter toutes nos sympathies.

Reg was truly a man who discovered his niche in life - service to others! His affable and ethical personality cut across any line that would divide friend or neighbour - on any basis - be it political, ethnic or religious.
His many successes spoke to the trust people placed in him - he made a friend of all he met and they responded in kind.

Deepest condolences to the extended family of a fine fine gentleman.

Reg was a tremendous MLA whose calling card was sincerity, integrity and tireless effort. He thought continually of his constituents and how he could best represent and serve them. As a colleague in the Legislature he was a delight to work with and engage in discussion. He could bring a degree of seriousness to the major issues and then display his unique and disarming sense of humour at the end of the discussion. He was a colleague you always looked forward to meeting. I enjoyed his company. He was a good friend.
My deepest sympathies go to his wife Monica and his immediate and extended family.

What a loss. Reg was a true crusader for the people, especially those who had no one to
speak for them.He knew when there was injustice and never hesitated to say so.
I first got to know Reg during the 1974 Provincial election when I and the other Miramichi
Liberal candidates were invited to Reg and Carmel's cottage for a campaign strategy meeting. In 1979 he was a candidate himself and ran another five times, making a name
as one of New Brunswick's most dedicated and decent persons ever to sit in the Legislature.
I sat with him in the House for fifteen years, and can proudly say that he was one of the best friends anyone could hope to have. Our sincere condolences to his great family, he was always so proud of you. John & Sandra McKay

My dear Monica - It is with great sadness that I convey my sympathy to you in the sad loss of your dear husband, Reg. I shall miss his presence with you as I so much enjoyed your visits. Reg was such a wonderful man, so full of knowledge and wisdom that I so much required and enjoyed during Vince's illness here at home and later in the Veterans' Wing. I admired his integrity and personable manner as he treated everyone with respect and fairness. He was such an integral part of the Community and will be sadly missed. You will certainly have no regrets as you were always so kind and compassionate and cared for his every need. I hope that you will continue to visit when time permits as I truly value your friendship. I shall keep you in my thoughts and Prayers, Monica, and I trust that you may be comforted by your strong faith, your host of friends and may your pleasant memories remain with you forever. To express my sympathy I have sent a donation to the Veterans' Wing in memory of Reg. Love and a hug from
